About this event

Adults (Ages 24 to 49), Teens (Ages 12 to 18), Tweens (Ages 9 to 11). Join our friendly, un-rated Chess Tournament to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals! For ages 9-18. For tournament players: Register before the event to reserve your spot. Sign-in and bracket assignments will be held during the first 15 minutes, from 1:00-1:15pm. Not competing in the tournament? Everyone is welcome to come enjoy free play chess or watch and cheer on participants. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Sponsored by the Friends of the Federal Way Libraries. Created and hosted by teen volunteers from the library's Teen Advisory Group (TAG).
