Code Club for Teens and Tweens

About this event

Teens (14-18 years), Tweens (9-13 years). Hey future coders ages 10 to 18! If you’re curious about how apps, games, and websites are built, come join us at the Wheeler Taft Abbett Library. Learn to code, create your own digital projects, and explore the tools that bring ideas to life! Updated age range of 10-18 for the Monday Code Club will: Let coders work independently, at their own pace, yet explore learning tracts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other advanced libraries in the lessons. Target and learn concepts that could help at future jobs (teen coders).We'll keep a simple, consistent flow each session so we can revisit what we’ve learned, work together on projects, and talk through any challenges or wins along the way. Reserve your spot and a laptop if you need one. Register online here. We’ll need an email (yours or a parent) to add you to our Fiero Code account. Wired headphones required.
