About this event

Adults: 18 and up, Seniors: 55 and up. Join Jenny at Dunning and the Center for Disability & Elder law to learn how to protect your home using reliable legal tools such as Transfer on Death Instruments (TODIs). If you are “on title” to your home, you can protect it by executing a TODI. A TODI is a simple form recorded with the Cook County Clerk’s Office that names a beneficiary or beneficiaries to receive title to your home after you pass away. TODIs usually allow the beneficiary to transfer the property into their name without going to probate court. ABOUT CDEL The Center for Disability & Elder Law is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and advancing the legal rights of low-income senior citizens and persons with disabilities in Cook County since 1984.
