Great Decisions — A New Nuclear Age
About this event
All Adults, College Students, Older Adults. Join us for this Great Decisions lecture in partnership with World Boston and the GBH Forum Network and supported by the Lowell Institute. As global tensions rise and longstanding alliances face new uncertainty, the risks surrounding nuclear weapons are changing. Join WorldBoston for a Great Decisions conversation with Ambassador in Residence Mark Libby and nuclear policy scholar Rebecca Gibbons of the University of Southern Maine. Together, they will examine the future of nuclear deterrence, proliferation, international arms-control agreements, and the choices facing the United States and the international community. The main program will be held from 6-7 pm followed by a networking reception in the Newsfeed Cafe from 7 pm to 7:30 pm. Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible.
