The Cantonese Opera Academy of Hong Kong offers a four-year Cantonese Opera training course that is taught in a progressive way by professional tutors and experienced artists. The course focuses on five different aspects, namely singing skills, basic skills, Tanzi Gong (blanket sequences) skills, Bazi Gong (martial arts with weapons), and performance skills, and is committed to foster potential talents to be successors of Cantonese Opera performers.  The fascinating programme will draw on Traditional Set Pieces and Cantonese Opera Excerpts: Eight Immortals Bestowing Longevity, Blessing by the God of Fortune, A Fairy Returns Her Son to the Moral Father, Kneeling by the Pond from The Lioness Roars, The Wedding Night from Contention for the Seal, Stealing the Herb from The Legend of the White Snake and On Broken Bridge from The Legend of the White Snake.

八和粵劇學院制定了四年制的培訓課程，由粵劇界專業導師及資深演員任教，就唱功、基本功、毯子功、靶子功及表演功五方面，以循序漸進方式訓練，致力培訓下一代粵劇表演接班人。 是次匯報演出將上演例戲及折子戲包括：《八仙賀壽》、《加官》、《仙姬大送子》、《獅吼記之跪池》、《龍鳳爭掛帥之洞房》、《白蛇傳之盜草》及《白蛇傳之斷橋》。
